How Torchlight: Infinite wipes work
Torchlight: Infinite is a free-to-play action RPG by XD, playable on PC and mobile with cross-progression. It runs in seasons of about three months, each with a new seasonal mechanic, hero traits and balance changes.
Torchlight: Infinite runs a seasonal server and a permanent server. Each new season opens a fresh economy where everyone creates a new character and starts from scratch on the same day. Characters from the previous season are moved to the permanent server, where they stay playable. Account-wide unlocks — heroes, hero traits, Pactspirits and cosmetics — carry over. Seasons launch roughly every 13 weeks, usually at 7 PM US Pacific time on a Thursday (02:00 UTC Friday).
